RESTORATIVE YOGA FOR ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION RELEASE

Restorative practices include specific breathing techniques to regulate mood and mind; gentle, floor Yoga poses supported by blankets; simple meditation and visualizations to redirect the mind from the Kriya Yoga tradition; hand gestures (mudra); prayer of your own choosing, if it suits you; a quiet atmosphere and silence.

Restorative Yoga (longer-held floor poses in comfort and ease), Yoga Nidra (sleeping body, awake mind) and Kriya Yoga radiance meditation will bring into balance subtle life force energies while releasing nervous energy and mental and emotional burdens.

Be expertly-guided to promote self-directed healing and inner peace; plus experience the therapeutic weight of blankets to release trauma comfortably and to promote easy present-moment mindfulness.

Take home breathing skills to retrain and regulate emotions and the bodymind. Centering imagery supports awareness and effective mudras enhance well-being, gently.

This practice can relieve chronic pain and insomnia and supports healthy sleep and healthy digestion.
